After this week’s flare up, it’s all quiet on the Western front again.  There is a truce that doesn’t feel as uneasy as the previous truces.  I don’t know how long it will last but quite frankly I’m just glad that there’s relative peace.

I’ve decided I’m not going to change the way I live and husband will have to accept it.  I have as much right to go out and dance or meet friends as he does to stay in and watch TV or sleep.  I need a social life and I need contact with others.

I think some of the things I said must have made an impact.  Maybe he’s starting to see that I have a valid point.

Anyway, it’s peaceful and civil at the moment, which is a relief.  It won’t last forever.

But I’ll enjoy it while it does.
